A friend of mine stored his original "289" 1964 aluminum bodied roadster in my garage over several winters.  When he sold the car and I went out and got a model of it that sat on my fireplace mantel, like forever, it s still there.  In 2004 I saw an ad in the local paper for a cobra for sale.  It was an L.A.
