11/11/19 - Superformance reveals it's new
                   radical Mk-III-R Super Cobra

November 11, 2019 Irvine, California: Superformance answered the call for a Resto-Mod or more Modern versions of the classic Cobra. The MKIII R version was developed around a completely redesigned body with a dramatic recess in the front nose along with front and rear body scallops to accentuate the vented flared fenders. To improve the Aerodynamics of the car, a stylish front splitter was developed that follows the contours of this timeless design as well as the addition of a rear diffuser to complete the body package. To improve its performance even more, the standard 4 Piston Wilwood Brakes were swapped out for the massive Wilwood 6 Piston calipers. The interior has also been modified to add custom gauges, a drop-down Console, and French Stitched leather seats and leather stitched tunnel mat. You can choose a personal favorite color or select from a variety of new color pallets. In July of 2019 Superformance CEO Lance Stander turned the designers at the factory loose and in just a few months time the new radical Superformance Mk-III-R Cobras are being shipped to the U.S. for their world debut. The changes made will add in it's appearance as well as high speed functionality, performance and handling. SCOF's own Randall Thomas even got involved by coming up with slatted ribs (fangs) in the front and rear side vents. While this radical twist on a timeless classic may not be everyone's cup of tea, it certainly is a very modern flair while still paying homage to the original design. SEE THE CREATION HERE
